I was watching/listening to the 'Backpacker Radio' podcast episode above again this afternoon (as I was half asleep when I first listened to it on my iPad) and heard the hosts say that they recorded that show on March the 7th somewhere in Colorado, even though it was uploaded on April 7th on the You Tube channel.
As a personal synch, I had just spent 4 nights in Denver, Colorado and was leaving Denver on March the 6th for Seattle, Washington:-)

It was surreal eating in what basically was a set for 'Twin Peaks'.
This guy was the best Uber driver we had the luck to run across while we were in America.

On March the 7th me and my son caught a bus out to North Bend to visit the cafe where 'Twin Peaks' was filmed ... and I was hoping to see an owl up in the bush around the falls, but alas, no luck with the live owls as usual:-(

And having a slice of cherry pie and a cup of coffee here.
He actually talked to us, unlike half the Uber drivers we caught rides off in The States, and he showed us all the 'Twin Peaks' filming locations around the area on our way to the falls.
He even stopped at the bridge so we could walk on it and take some photos.
At least the weather was good for us on March the 7th.
This was the day I bought my 'The Owls Are Not What They Seem' sticker from the diner:-)
