I had just finished telling my eldest son that I heard that Peppa Pig's new baby sister is named Evie (he and his partner have a 6 month old daughter named Eva who they had been calling Evie) and then picked up the book 'Happy Days' to finish reading the last few chapters so that I could give the book away to a street library, like I did with 'The Universe Has Your Back', and then saw the first line of the chapter about reparenting.
IFS, Attunement, and Synchronicity?👪🦉
I wrote about giving my granddaughter a Peppa Pig Easter present in this recent post -
Oh, and Peppa Pig is voiced by an actress named Harley BIRD:-)| Who's calling the shots?-) |
Where's Bluey's Dad? At Easter!?🥚🚽🐣I also gave her a Peppa Pig goes to the library book I bought from the Op Shop.
The Peppa Pig Effect?!🐖🐷🐇🐰I also came across another Peppa Pig book in the Op Shop which I bought but ended up re-donating it back to the Op Shop, as it was a bit tattered and torn and taped back together when I had a closer look and read through.
I thought it was just a book about 'Fun at the Fair' and didn't relise at the time that it was a "flip book" with two stories in the one book.
When you flipped the book over it was a story called 'Peppa Goes Swimming'.
I bought the book because the fun fair rides reminded me of Bill Hicks' 'Life is Just a Ride' metaphor -
| Helter-Skelter?! |
But then I saw a ride called the 'Helter Skelter' in the book, which is like a big slide.
And it made me think of The Beatle's song 'Helter Skelter' and the Manson Murders, especially when I saw the word PIG not far away from the words 'Helter Skelter' in the book.
