I bought a bell a few weeks ago from an op shop because it had a ship's wheel for a handle, which reminded me of the symbol used for Buddhism.
Although that wheel has 8 spokes, not 6.
I can't help but think that Ring a Bell Day on New Year's Day might not be appreciated by people who want their Zz today;-)
I guess now that I know about this day, come next year the day should ring a bell for me;-)
