How to Celebrate National Inane Answering Message Day?๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ“ฒ๐Ÿ“ด๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ“ต๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿต

My old landline phone
Every January 30th
"National Inane Answering Message Day dates back to 2001, a time when cell phones were not as ubiquitous as they are today.
Back then, people had answering machines attached to their landline telephones, and it was not uncommon to receive a senseless or meaningless message.
The day was created by Thomas & Ruth Roy of Wellcat.com with the aim of encouraging people to change, shorten, replace, or delete those ridiculous and annoying answering machine messages that waste the time of anyone who must listen to them.
While technology has evolved, the spirit of the day remains relevant.
Today, we’re dealing with inane voicemails on our cell phones, proliferated by mechanized robocalls.
These messages can range from political and marketing spam to scams of all kinds.
National Inane Answering Message Day serves as a reminder to take action against these annoying messages.
The day is a testament to how communication has evolved over the years. From the days of landline telephones and answering machines to the era of smartphones and digital voicemail, the way we communicate has undergone a significant transformation.
However, one thing that has remained constant is the presence of inane messages. As we continue to rely on technology for communication, it’s important to remember the purpose of National Inane Answering Message Day and strive for clear, meaningful messages."
I've had a landline phone ever since I moved out of home at around the age of 20, now with my mother's passing this year there is not much point in having
a landline phone and a mobile phone, so for the first time in my life I don't have a landline phone.
Funny thing is I still come home and look to where my old phone used to be in case someone has left a message.
Old habits die hard, I guess.
