I must admit that I'm a big believer in "you can't outrun your fate" ... but who really does know what their fate is until you have overrun it and can look back to see it laid out behind you?
This time of year, the astrologers are in their glory handing out advice for the coming year ahead.
And we all like to think we can dodge the Grim Reaper on our morning jog and avoid the bus with our name written on it, that's about to mount the footpath and take us on an unexpected journey.
But if you did manage to avoid getting run over by that bus, then that wasn't going to be your fate anyway, right?
It would just look to you that you avoided what you thought was going to be your fate, but your fate was that you were always going to avoid being run over by that bus anyway.
Then you can tell your friends how you should be dead right now under a bus ... but should you really?
But astrology can be a fun thing to believe in ... or half believe in (hey, I'm born on the cusp of Virgo/Libra, so my Virgo side just ain't buying it rationally, and my Libra side is still weighing it all up;-) or even not believe in at all, but still be able to converse at parties and pubs with your friends who do.
The Go-Betweens are a band from my birth town of Brisbane, and 'The Streets of Your Town' is the song for Capricorn on the CD that comes in The Cosmic Feast box set I bought from the Op Shop I volunteer in.
I think that my Libra side just loved the great looking artwork in it at first, but the songs on the CD have grown on me with each play.
In this book my birthday falls right at the end of Virgo and the song for Virgo on the CD is Stephen Cummings version of 'I Fell from a Great Hight', which at first, I didn't really like, but my favourite Tarot Card is The Fool, so I guess I can live with it;-)

I'm not too sure about the recipes in this book for Virgo/Libra to be honest.
Or the drinks.
But I do love the artwork throughout the book, so it's a keeper for me.
Cancer is the last thing I want to think about this year.
What Does Supernormalized Even Mean? 🎤🤔💭🧚👽🦉
