Song Sung True Blue?πŸŽ€πŸ’˜πŸ’™πŸ”ΆπŸ”·

I saw
'Song Sung Blue' on Boxing Day last year and not knowing anything about the
Lightning & Thunder couple the movie is based on, I enjoyed the movie.
But now there are claims by Lightning's real son that the movie is full of lies?
Real-Life Son of Song Sung Blue Musician,
Accuses Film of 'Lies'
Which I find personally synchromystic, as the next book I'm up to in chronological reading order in my '1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die' is 'Rashōmon' and I've been trying to track the movie 'Rashomon' down to watch it [just bought it now], as I have never watched it before.
Rashomon [Original title: RashΓ΄mon] (1950)
'Rashomon' is about 3 parties, and a witness having 4 versions of a rape/murder in ninth-century Japan.

Any "real" story, no matter how carefully told has to have elements of fiction in it, either through outright lies, faulty and exaggerated memories, or various POVs from everyone involved (or not involved) in that story.
Every Story is Part Myth No Matter How True People Want You to BeLIEve it is?
The only thing with me being a drinker that I had my doubts about how true it was in the film was Lightning's claims of being 20 years sober, while he was addressing AA meetings in the film.
I even raised the beer I had bought in with me from the cinema bar as an ironic toast every time Lightning made the claim in the movie, as I take with a grain of salt anyone who tells me that they have been sober for that long, without having one drink somewhere along that timeline.
I'm sure there are people who have done it, but to me most are telling fibs in those AA meetings.
Not that I've ever been to an AA meeting, because I see myself as a moderate drinker compared to most Aussies I see, so touch wood, that I never fall down the slippery slope to what I consider alcoholism.

And as far as
Lightning & Thunder goes I wrote about going to one of the last Brisbane shows Neil Diamond did, and having to dodge the lightning and thunder after coming out of that show -
Back to the Future with Neil Diamond on Nov 5th?
