How to Celebrate National Draw a Dinosaur Day? ✍🤔💭

Every January 30th

It fascinates me when working in the Op Shop and seeing the amount of dinosaur plastic figures and toys that are donated and then eagerly bought, just how fascinating kids (and adults) find these things.

Dinosaurs and anything to do with dinosaurs bore me to death as much as the subject of whether Bigfoot, Yowies or Yetis are/were real?

I do like dragons, but to me dragons are strictly mythological to me, just like I think Bigfoot, Yowies or Yetis  are:-)

Ironically, I bought a few Yowie eggs at the local supermarket to see just what is so appealing about plastic dinosaurs, and it beats me.

At least the chocolate tastes better than those sickening Kinder Surprise eggs.

My birthday is in September, so by the time this Yowie hits its BEST BEFORE date, I will be a dinosaur ... if I haven't gone extinct by then, that is;-)

I was trying to see how long it would take me to get a green or red mythical Yowie figure that for some reason is included in the with the real dinosaurs:-)

But I'm having as much luck at coming across a Yowie in these eggs as people who go out looking in the bush for real ones.

I'll be popping these plastic figures and their paperwork in the free lucky dip bin in the Op Shop for some lucky kid to take home, and be thrilled by having them around the home, unlike me.

I wish they would bring out some Aussie Rules Yowies and then I might start buying them again, but no more dinosaurs for me.
