I must admit that I don't drink much cow's milk these days, as I usually have soy milk on my cereal now, as a leftover from my time on a mainly Vegan type of diet (I never gave up honey), but I like to buy some full cream cow's milk occasionally for old times' sake, and 'National Milk Day' seems a good excuse for a drink to me.
I also bought some Halloumi cheese to taste as a raw cheese, having bought a burger with grilled Halloumi from a takeaway shop, before seeing the movie 'Song Sung Blue' last Boxing Day, when most restaurants in the area were closed that day.
I'm not much of a fan of chicken burgers, so I tried the Halloumi burger, not really knowing what Halloumi was, apart that it was suitable for Vegetarians (which I'm not)
I think a Halloumi burger will always be my choice over a chicken burger.

Looking at the ingredients on the packet, I see that Halloumi contains milk from cows, goats and sheep, so this is the cheese to eat on a day like 'National Milk Day', I guess?
But as a raw cheese, I'm not much of a fan, as it tastes like salty rubber.
So, it's good grilled on burgers, but not so good as a raw cheese, when you have other raw cheeses to choose from.
I guess that I'll be eating this cheese for the rest of the week now, until it's all gone from my fridge.
Anyway, happy 'National Milk Day'.
Cheers ... or should I say cheese?-)

I've never cared much about the Golden Globes in the past, and I still don't, but it's always interesting to see which movies get a GG to me.
I guess I'll find out which movies get the GG tomorrow?

But who really cares, right?
