I found this interesting short animation called
The Man Who Walked Between the Towers narrated by none other than Donnie Darko himself, Jake Gyllenhaal.

Year of the Synchromystic Dragon
(Part One)
with the Leon Russell song Tightrope and the Man on Wire film I referred to in that post.
But here is another weird thing to add to the strangeness of it all.
The Executive Producer of this short animation is named Linda Lee ... although not Bruce's wife.
And here is another guy that sounded like he was a Donnie Darko fan, by the music he used in the background of this final clip that he made before his passing.
(August 8, 1993 – December 25, 2011)
And here's a good site that explains the movie's premise;

Although, I prefer to think of it as an infinite time loop that had the potential to go on forever, but Donnie Darko breaks out of it in this instance.
The number eight (infinity) is a prominent number in the film.
And Ben Breedlove was born on 8/8/1993 strangely enough.
Passing on Christmas Day December 25th, 2011 at the age of 18.
The movie takes place in 1988.
The world ends in 28 days, 06 hours, 42 minutes, and 12 secs.
If you add these numbers, the sum is 88.
When Samantha asks when she can have kids, Donnie says: "Not until 8th grade."
Donnie mentions to his therapist his dog died when he was eight.
According to the television reporter, the fire at Jim Cunningham's house was extinguished "sometime after 8:00 last night.".
Donnie mentions the DeLorean car, which was used for time travel in Back to the Future (1985).
In Back To The Future the DeLorean had to reach a speed of 88 mph to travel in time.

Interestingly also, was the fact that Ben Breelove was born the year Dragon was released and the year Brandon passed - 1993.
Mad world indeed!?!
