"Acclaimed Queensland actor, playwright and film star Bille Brown has died at the age of 61.
The veteran thespian had cancer and became ill in recent weeks and passed away this afternoon."Acclaimed Queensland Actor Bille Brown Dies
Bille died on the two year anniversary of the Brisbane floods that hit the studio named in his honour.

One of those strange, tragic synchros, don't you think? The two-year-anniversary. Never saw any of his movies, but will now Netflix Oscar and Lucinda.

Sarah also passed away recently with cancer.
