The Fig Tree Restaurant, Byron Bay

I found a video of one of my favourite restaurants in Byron Bay
Fig Tree Restaurant
and thought I would just share it with you here, since I have written about it in the past on this blog and this clip just makes me hungry and want to drive down to Byron Bay as soon as I can.
Synchronistic Sunday Surprizes
The Fig Tree Restaurant
Dedroidify posted the above clip at his blog
Mister Rogers Remixed | Garden of Your Mind
just a little bit before I had completed this post, so I included it here as a sync.
The Fig Tree also does weddings as well, like the one below.

UPDATE: 24th Jan, 2013.
My blogging friend Trish, who has just written a post about
Bruce Springsteen, New jersey's favourite son -
                                         SA TA NA MA
just left a comment below saying
"Wow, this place looks great. That tree: it resembles trees we have in Florida that are called ficus trees"
Which reminded me of a film made by Michael Moore about a tree running for election in New Jersey.

Ah well, next time I'm passing I'll drop into the Fig Tree Restaurant!

On the video I see he roasted beetroot. I had them like this for the first time ever when I went to my son's house for dinner this week. Small world, but might take me a time to get to the Fig Tree.

I have never had roasted beetroot, and to be honest I would never order a meal like this one.
The menu I have selected from in the past at the Fig Tree is a lot more filling than this dieter's meal here.

I saw a Michael Moore film once where he had a ficus plant running in an election somewhere in The States.
I found it -
