Mt.Warning Erupts on the 23rd

The Mount Warning Pub at Uki went up in flames on Saturday night Febrary 23rd, one year short of its centenary -
Historic pub burns for second time
It was named after the near by mountain which I wrote about climbing in this post -
Climb Every Mountain?  
Mount Warning is an extinct volcano plug.
Mount Warning
 It's sad to see such a great old pub like that go up in flames.
 And for those that believe in the 23 curse, it's just another incident to file away with the rest of the strange stories involving the number.
And don't forget this bus accident either, that occurred on the 23rd.

    The cursed number - your birthday the exception! That's sad about the pub. I hate seeing landmarks destroyed.
