Sync Degrees of Jackie Weaver

Jacki Weaver seems to be popping up everywhere lately.
Tomorrow night she will be hoping for an upset at the Oscars when she goes up against Anne Hathaway for the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.
Anne Hathaway, or Anne Hathor-way?
Now, here's where it gets weird.
I watched this movie (above) yesterday which is about signs and synchronicity.
Apart from the fact that my oldest son's name is Kevin
(a major sync in the movie)
the weirdness comes from actors in and not in this movie ... but connected by other roles they have played in movies together.
Jackie Weaver was in The Five Year Engagement with
Jason Segel and Emily Blunt.

The Adjustment Bureau

or Limitless ???

I wrote about going to see the above movies a few years ago, click the link under the cinema photo three pics above.

'Jacki Weaver Superstar':

One Actress's 48-Year

Journey to the Role of a Lifetime

Jackie's first acting role in feature length movies
was back in 1971 in a movie called Stork.
The star of that movie was Bruce Spence,
Bruce Spence
who I wrote about seeing at the BBWF last year -
Byron Bay Writers Festival 2012
Jeff, Who Lives at Home
Now back to Jeff, Who Lives at Home.
One of the brother's who wrote and directed
Jeff, Who Lives at Home, Mark Duplass
Mark Duplass
is filming a movie now, called Parkland.
" A recounting of the chaotic events that occurred at Dallas' Parkland Hospital on the day U.S. President John F. Kennedy was assassinated."
Jackie Weaver plays Marguerite Oswald in the same movie.
The weekend I saw Silver Linings Playbook was the weekend
cyclone Oswald was hitting my hometown, Brisbane.
Damage from cyclone Oswald,
Australia Day weekend
Harvey, Oswald, Australia Day and Rabbits
Judy Greer who was in Jeff, Who Lives at Home was also in
Love and Other Drugs with Anne Hathaway
and Mr.Donnie Darko himself - Jake Gyllenhaal .
Talking of spooky movies, Jackie was in a movie
called Picnic at Hanging Rock.
And here's another rabbit hole Jackie is also
in the upcoming thriller Stoker.
And this is mental, Jackie was also in a movie called Cosi
with Toni Collette from Mental
"Mental" Syncs
Some weird weaving indeed in this post.

  1. Ah, okay, I was waiting for this! When you first started showing photos of her as a younger woman, I worried that I'd written about the wrong actress in my review of Silver Linings Playbook.

I remember that strange movie, a picnic at hanging rock.
