The Man in the High Castle: Book vs Series?πŸŽ₯πŸ“•πŸ―πŸ°

I nearly finished viewing the Amazon series adaption of PKD's book on Hitler's birthday (April 20th), but ended up finishing the last episode the day after on April 21st, the late Queen of England's birthday ironically:-)
Which seemed apt, because in the book the British Empire wins the war in our universe and I like to think we did, too ... didn't we?-)
Personally, I thought the series was way better than the book, but I wasn't a fan of either, to tell the truth, and found them both a slog to get through.
I was wondering how other people liked the book or the series, but I couldn't find a lot reviews about the complete series vs the book on the net.
Apart from opinionated reviews from people like this person below, who seemed to use the word "hate" a lot in her You Tube review, ironically:-)
She certainly liked the series, didn't she?-)
I think she forgot that it was meant to be a PKD adaption?
She should try reading all of his work, if she felt that way about the series:-)
I thought Rufus Sewell stole the series in his role as John Smith, an SS ObergruppenfΓΌhrer, later promoted to Oberst-GruppenfΓΌhrer, and then to Reichsmarschall of the colony of North America.
It took me a while to realize that Rufus was in the 1998 movie 'Dark City' -
And he was in the 2019 movie 'Judy' ... but we ain't gonna talk about 'Judy';-)
How times change?
