"It was more akin to a country soap opera than the bright lights of Hollywood, with a mayor in tears and claims the environment was being forgotten.

Warner Bros was cleared to film its blockbuster Aquaman at the Hastings Point Headland, on the New South Wales far north coast.
It took an emergency meeting of the Tweed Shire Council to rubber-stamp the proposal for the $160 million project after furious ratepayers complained they were not consulted about plans to block off the site for at least two months.
The council granted a temporary licence to film at Hastings Point, with regular checks to be conducted.

Weird times it seems.
I picked up a local paper on Friday and on page three see the local Green's mayor digitally enhanced to look like the latest incarnation of a Wonder Woman character in a battle with Aquaman over the right to film on Hasting's Point in New South Wales, Australia.
I actually attended the wedding of my now ex-cousin-in-law at this very spot years ago.

"Sixty-seven is a bitch." |
Then I see Znore at his 'Groupname for Grapejuice' blog had written a post about James Joyce and his novel 'Ulysses' and the goddess Circe -
The Bitch's Shadow"Joyce's fascination with Bruno throughout his writing career is well-known.
From an early critical review of a book on Bruno to almost continual reference to the Nolan and his ideas in Finnegans Wake, Joyce reveals himself as a faithful devotee of the Magus.
Silverstein points to a hidden reference in Ulysses that might provide a key to Joyce's whole magical design.
In the opening section of the Walpurgisnacht-like "Nighttown" or "Circe" episode of Ulysses, a "bawd" calls out to Leopold Bloom to entice him into her brothel, promising "ten shillings a maidenhead."
And a warning is also given:
THE BAWD: (HER WOLFEYES SHINING) He's getting his pleasure. You won't get a virgin in the flash houses. Ten shillings. Don't be all night before the polis in plain clothes sees us. Sixtyseven is a bitch."
Circe (/ˈsɜːrsiː/; (Greek: Κίρκη Kírkē pronounced [kírkɛ͜ɛ]) is a goddess of magic or sometimes a nymph, witch, enchantress or sorceress in Greek mythology.
Other accounts make her the daughter of Hecate, the goddess of witchcraft."In DC Universe, Circe is a constant and deadly foe of Wonder Woman and is in league with the witchcraft goddess Hecate; in Marvel Comics, the immortal Eternal superheroine Sersi, created by Jack Kirby, is based on Circe, transforming Odysseus's men into pigs not out of malice, but because they were misbehaving at one of her parties."
Now I see Chris Knowles, who has been writing a great series of posts about the weirdness surrounding Tim Buckley's 'Song to the Siren' is going to be on the above radio show talking about Wonder Woman in the age of Isis.
The Secret Sun and the Siren's Song
Nicole's hubby Keith Urban sung before the 2016 National Rugby League grand final before the Sharks won their first ever grand final.
Urban was born in '67, too.
Being a Sharks fan, I hope this underwater/'67 theme lasts until at least this year's grand final.
And ironically the next Sharks game will be against the Gold Coast Titans on the Gold Coast.
Go the Sharkies!!!
Heard on the Grapevine that the Real McCoy is Back in Town;-)
