FUTURE FOSSILS: MITCH ALTMAN (HACKING LIFE FOR FUN & PROFIT)

Great talk with Mitch Altman, who ironically is the man behind TV B Gone, a device for turning TVs off (or on) in public places (now we need iPhone B Gone ... I'll buy one), who grew up (pretty much like me) watching TV shows like 'Gilligan's Island', from which Mitch had an Aha moment while watching.

Ironically, my ex-wife was named Tina Louise, because her parents named her after the actress who plays Ginger on 'Gilligan's Island'.

Which may explain why I see Ginger Spice through this lens;-) -

Babylon Spice might have been a
better name than Ginger?

My ex-wife watched way too much TV, so a TV B Gone would have been very handy when I was married to her.
At least now she is gone and so is the TV, too ... yay:-)
Anyway, great talk over at the Future Fossils podcast site ...unless you are really into TV, in which case you might find it a bit of a turn-off;-)

OK, Mitch has inspired me to get to work on making a Facebook B Gone device, which I might name FACE/OFF:-)
