I was listening to the latest Oprah podcast where Oprah interviews Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling about the movie 'A Wrinkle in Time', which they all just starred in together.
It wasn't until I took a look at the trailer for 'A Wrinkle in Time' and saw that an actor from my hometown named Levi Miller was in the same film that I had a WIT (I was going to write WTF moment, but with my wit I changed WTF to WIT [Wrinkle In Time] moment:-) moment.
My eldest son Kevin when he worked for Apple trained Levi's mother and theatrical agent on using their Apple products around the time Levi was filming 'Pan'.
As soon as I saw that Levi was in a film with Oprah, I couldn't help playing the 'Six Degrees of Separation' game in my head, even though by having met Paulo Coelho in 1998 at a book festival I already knew I was 2 degrees away from Oprah ... well who isn't 2 degrees from Oprah I hear you say;-)
Super Soul Conversations?
But then I wondered if Kevin Bacon had ever been in a movie with Oprah Winfrey and I went to 'The Oracle of Bacon' to find out Oprah's "Bacon number".

But Oprah's "Bacon number" of 2 comes about because she was in the movie 'Charlotte's Web' with Dominic Scott Kay who plays Wilbur the pig.
A Bacon number of 2 because of Wilbur the pig?!
Is the Trickster elbowing me in the ribs here?
Maybe so, because after watching that clip from 'Charlotte's Web' in the above You Tube I go down to make myself some breakfast and as I go outside to throw my trash into my recycling bin I find a spider has made a web from a tree to the handle of my bin overnight.
I kind of think there is a message there when a spider links a living tree to a recycling bin, instead of linking it to the waste bin right next to it that goes into landfill.
I thought that Levi would have a "Bacon number" of 3, but it turned out he had a "Bacon number" of 2, too.
And that would have been without starring with Oprah in 'A Wrinkle in Time'.
Because Levi was in a movie with Sebastian Sozzi.
So, it's a small, weird and connected little world we are all living it seems.
I've not watched the Oprah version of 'Charlotte's Web' yet and I never knew that Oprah had a part in that movie until I put her name into the 'The Oracle of Bacon'.
Another weird thing is that I'm reading 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' because I'm a big fan of the 'Twin Peaks' TV show and I'm about to watch the whole lot including the movie again now that I have seen them all once and know the story (kind of) and yesterday afternoon I had read up to page 237 in the book where there is a picture of a bookshelf with a copy of the novel 'Charlotte's Web' on it.
Now I Know We are Living in a 'Twin Peaks' Universe
