John Darko: Shades of Donnie Darko?

John Darko
John Darko has a part in the movie This is the End, 
which was funny because a few of my sync-head pals were discussing having seen this movie as well as discussing the movie Donnie Darko in a podcast on their Always Record show.
Episode 55:

There is a scene in This is the End where the guys are fighting over a Milky Way bar and and the guys made a joke about cows and the Milky Way (udderly terrible joke too;-), then a few days after the podcast (when I'm listening to it) I see this story on the news about a cow falling through a guy's roof in Brazil and killing him while he was in bed.
 "A cow has fallen through the roof of a house in Brazil, killing a man and narrowly missing his wife.
The cow was grazing on a hill behind the house in the town of Caratinga when it stepped onto the asbestos roof which collapsed under its weight.
A 45-year-old man was lying in bed when the animal fell on him.

Then after doing a post about the Sharkies beating the Broncos at a game I was at, my friend in the UK(e) sends me a link about a movie called Sharkndo (which I have never heard of before)
Then I see some star out of a show my wife loves and I hate - 
Glee, has died in a hotel and his last tweet was about the Sharknado movie!?!
I found out today that he was born on the 11th May,
which is my wife's birthday...
my head is spinning like crazy at this point.
I did a post on all this Sharknado stuff here this morning

Then I decided to Google "John Darko" and found a series of tweets about
 Sharknado.

when I was making film in Qatar. I didn't have access to American TV. So I went out and bought shows on DVD. Glee was one of them.

What kind of name is Harry Styles?! says the guy who's last name is Darko.
 I saw that John had 665 followers, so I couldn't resist and signed up for Twitter and became the 666th follower. 
I'd say the Devil made me do it, but I don't believe in myths.

Can life get any weirder?
Please don't answer that life;-)

    Darren, it's all VERY weird! I've never heard of this Shark movie either until now. Have you seen this new report, I predict more...

    Hi Darren, I can confirm we (in fact) do live in two parallel dimensions. The coffee over here isn’t too bad. I am not evil - or - at least I don’t feel like I am. But maybe due to your existence in the multiverse —— I may be your arch nemesis?!?! However akin to my soft and friendly outlook, I think we should talk this out over a cup of hot cocoa.     Hi John and thanks for dropping by with a comment.
    It only took you six years to find this post, but by dropping by you've reminded me that I still have 'Sharknado 6' to watch yet.
    A lot of water (with sharks) have passed under the bridge since that post.
    Say hi to James Franco for me and oddly enough I mentioned him with a bit of tongue in cheek in my latest post.
    If I ever get myself a passport and do some travelling outside of Australia I may just take you up on the drink offer.
    Oddly enough on the subject of sharknados, my hometown of Brisbane looks like it might be in for something of a shark-cyclone come this weekend, so I might have to get me a chainsaw;-)

    Reading through that old post I saw a line you used in one of your tweets that would make a good tittle for a dark little horror/comedy -

    It's 11:11 - do you know where your cat is?

    It could be like a cat shape-shifting movie where the time prompt 11:11 turns pet cats into little killing monsters.
    Or how about "CATNADO" where you have black cats raining down from the skies bringing havoc to cities?
    Anyway, nice hearing from you John and if you are ever visiting Australia we could meet for coffee somewhere.
