Blame it on Rio ... and Perry Blake

I came across the music of Perry Blake after reading Mike Perry's post -
Blake on the Green Bridge Coincidence
about the name 'Blake' painted on a bridge near where he lives in Cornwall, England.
The Music of Perry Blake
I had never heard of this singer before that.
Thank heaven's for synchronicity.

The Music of Perry Blake

It always amazes me the places synchronicity can take you.
It's not about the destination, but the journey.
Saviour it (savour every moment), because it's too hard to guess where you are going anyway, so enjoy where you are on the journey now, rather than worry about a future destination miles off down the track.
Savior vs. saviour
I'm not a Christian, but I like the idea of the living spirit of Christ flying over Rio, arms outstretched like He is inferring life is a ride.

UPDATE: 26th, October, 2021
Perry Blake is still making haunting music I see ... and hear:-)

  1. Something of a synchro for me. That christ figure in rio - have always wanted to see it even though I am not conventionally religious. It just strikes me as something to see.

The other day I was talking to this woman at the dog park who is from Spain, married to a Brazilian, who was talking about this figure."You can't capture the entire figure in a camera, from the airport, she says. The arms are cut off.

But you must put Brazil on your list.

So there it is. On my list. And I'll know not to attempt the photo op.

  3. It's always interesting where synchros take us - and now we are in Brazil - well, it's on my list anyway, one day perhaps.
