I saw the news about P!NK giving away "banned books" at her concerts in Florida and all I could think about was flamingos and my author friends who live in Florida and how they are always writing about books being banned in their state.
I did attend a 2018 P!NK concert in my hometown of Brisbane after a few synchronicities from attending a Writers Festival in Byron Bay that year, which I wrote about here -

I've never been into reading Sherlock Holmes books and short stories before coming across a recommendation in a book I've been reading for quite a while now titled '1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die', and I have to wonder if Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books are banned in Florida schools because of the detective's love of taking cocaine and other drugs, which may not have been on the banned list back in Doyle's day, but now are, which would make Holmes a criminal by today's standards I reckon -
