Synchromysticism

The art of realizing meaningful coincidence in the seemingly mundane with mystical or esoteric significance."

COLEman SYNC

I've just finished reading Mark LeClair's chapter in
The SYNC Book 2
and went over to his blog to see what was new.
Jovan Belcher number 59
The last time I was over at Mark's site I left a comment on his
How To Be A Synchromystic Journalist In 5 Easy Steps post -
Mark had written that post on the 1st of December, the same day
Loren Coleman had written a post titled -
KC Chiefs Player Suicide at Arrowhead: Updates
Reading between the lines I thought that he was having a go at
Loren Coleman's blogging style.
Maybe because I had just read Mark's post after reading Loren's post on the American footballer
Jovan Belcher, who had shot his girlfriend and then shot himself in the head in front of his coaches at a team training facility in Kansas City
Mirror of truth???
The first step Mark writes is to
 1) Find a compelling News Item.
 Then
 2) Research the meaning of keywords and symbols.
And then
 3) Make a lateral connection.
Example
"Jovan as a boy's name is of Latin origin.
Variant of Jove, from Jupiter (Latin) "the supreme God.
Jupiter was the supreme deity of Roman mythology, corresponding to the Greek Zeus."
Then
 4) Add some moral support to the argument.
 And
 5) Bonus Step.
It is helpful to include a reference to The Wizard of Oz and/or Stanley Kubrick.
Zoey/Zooey/Oz/Kansas
"The Kansas City Star, quoting an unidentified friend of Perkins, reported that Belcher confronted his girlfriend after she returned at about 1 a.m. following a Trey Songz concert.
The couple had dated about three years and argued frequently recently.
The couple's daughter Zoey, born Sept. 11, 2012, is safe.

The baby is in the care of Belcher's mother, who police said lived with the couple in their rented home."
Mark had a good point in his article, but what I found was a bit of a joke at Loren's site was how he was promoting his book on his
Twilight Language blog.
The two seemed to contradict each other in an almost comical way.
I was going to write a comment on his blog about this contradiction, but knew that it would not get posted, since he had refused to post my comment about a guy in China who had run amok slashing 22 Chinese school children, on his post about the American school shootings.
Later claiming that it was not relevant to the debate.
Maybe because the Chinese don't report these things in the Chinese media anymore?
But they still happen.
Which throws cold water over his Copycat Effect theory maybe?
So, he took a leaf out of the Chinese censorship book and wouldn't let my comment see the light of day on his blog.
So, I decided to do my own post called -
 Who's The Real Joker Here?
The Last Boy Scout
But here's where the Synchromystic Trickster comes in.
In The SYNC Book 2 Loren Coleman writes
"I see my role as my name informs, as a "Coal"man ("COLEman"),
one of those who lit the fires on the hills along the ley lines as a
"perceiver"...I shall give you the facts,
no matter how grounded or beguiling,
and you can come to your own conclusions.
Now today I see this comment was left on the 5th of December by James at Marks post ;
" a fun and spooky read!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVrsGHs2MCk
tony scott. "
When I saw the name Tony Scott I had to have a look,
as I knew Tony Scott had recently committed suicide
by jumping off a bridge.
I loved a lot of his movies,
but had never seen The Last Boy Scout.
James' link was to the opening scene in the movie where a footballer shoots some people then puts the gun to his head and kills himself.
WARNING:
SCENES OF PEOPLE BEING SHOT WITH GUNS IN ABOVE YOU TUBEALTHOUGH IT IS JUST A SCENE FROM A MOVIE, STILL A BIT GRAPHIC FOR THOSE WHO DON'T LIKE VIOLENT MOVIES.
But talk about synchromysticism, take a look at the name on the footballer's uniform when he pulls the trigger.
Also, COLE's number is 41.
Belcher's number was 59 (5+9 = 14)
14 is like a mirror reverse of 41.
Can't synchromysticism be a bit of a Joker?
I guess we're not in Kansas anymore?-)
"... one of those who lit the fires on the hills
along the ley lines as a
"perceiver"... "

Maybe the synchromystic Trickster has another message in
another one of Tony Scott's films;-)

UPDATE: 25th Dec, 2012

US firefighters gunned

down responding to blaze?

I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

" Two American volunteer firefighters have been shot dead and two others injured while responding to an emergency call in New York state.
The firefighters were called to a home in the town of Webster, east of Rochester, on the shores of Lake Ontario.
Webster police chief Gerald Pickering says when they arrived they were shot at.
"It does appear that it was a trap that was set for first responders, but causative reasons we don't have at this time," he said.
"Four of the firefighters were shot. Two are deceased, two were transported to area hospitals.
"These people get up in the middle of the night to put out fires, they don't expect to be shot and killed." "

  1. The trickster strikes again! Great sequence of synchros here, Daz.

  2. Jaz Coleman plays for Killing Joke. I connect the coal theme to this old story about Betty & Veronica (the Twin Towers) being buried in coal. We quantum observers watch as the World Falls Down.

Loren analyzes the "Twilight" language, or, rather, the teen angst of Twilight starlet Kristen Stewart (the World Soul, as detailed in the Runaways post).

The important thing in Mark's Jovan story is the Sandy connection:

"Kasandra is also the Greek Cassandra. Cassandra is a prophetess of doom, a predictor of an upcoming terror."

She defines reality by the very act of being killed repeatedly. The Dead Girl as VALIS perturbed PKD's reality field.

True. When I hear from numerous people about news that is all over the web, I don't repeat comments saying the same thing, over and over. Instead, I bring them to the blog level, and thank people. I guess, Darren, you missed what I posted at the end here:

You're right Loren,I didn't see that comment, but that was probably the last comment that I tried to post on your blog as there were others before that on other subjects that didn't get posted in the comment section either.

No hard feelings though Loren,I still think "Twilight Language" is an interesting blog
(not that I will be trying to post a comment there anymore.-)
but it just seems weird when a book like "The Copycat Effect" is being promoted on the same blog.

Surly you can see the contradiction there ?
And you have to admit that's a pretty good sync in the Tony Scott (who killed himself this year) film "The Last Boy Scout" how the footballer that shoots a few players and then shots himself has the name COLE on his back, after you were stressing the COLE part of your name in The SYNC Book 2 (Coal/Cole man) and blogging about the player that shot himself in the head on Dec 1 st.

And here's another strange thing I found out about the actor that played Billy Cole. His real name is Billy Blanks.Although even blanks can kill.Just look at Brandon Lee's death -

  6. It was actually quite random
(if there is such a thing) because I just Googled "Daily Mirror" trying to grab a headline from that paper that related to the shooting story I was posting.
I saw the "41 lives could be saved"
sub-heading and because Billy COLE is wearing number 41 on his football uniform I though OK that's the one I will go with.
But,a little voice in my head said 96 will prove to be a good choice for a headline later down the track.
    I didn't know why,but I guess I do now.-)

I've got to admit that 23 being my birth-date and 64 being the year I was born swayed me a bit also.

  7. I forgot to say that Jovian's uniform number being 59 (5+9+14) and Billy Cole's being 41 gave me the idea of mirror reversed images,so I wanted a "Daily Mirror" headline to underline that oddity when it came to
    1) Finding a compelling News Item.-)
    ,hence
"41 lives could have been saved".
96 really had nothing to do with my choice.
Although I did worry that people would think
"what the *u@% has 96 got to do with this story?"

  8. Actually 'How To Be A Synchromystic Journalist In 5 Easy Steps' made me smile - but perhaps it's just the time of year.

  10. For some reason I keep thinking "Newcastle" when I read this growing post. There is the obvious coal connection, but I was wondering is there was more to it than this?

And before you ask.. I have no idea what this might mean...

  11. @KU
Did you put up that link because of
this Loren Coleman comment in that story?

"Searching for Bigfoot and Other Cryptids (Loren Coleman)
    11.00-11.45
The hunt for Bigfoot has spanned, seemingly, less years than the advent of romantic zoology. What legacy does one have to the other? What can the recent past tell us about the next century in the field? "

  12. I didn't spot that Daz... but it is brilliant in the context of this post. No... I was just taking Loren Coles to Newcastle with a little help from Bigfoot. Right... I've just got to eat a mince pie and a carrot and I can go to bed...

  13. @KU
That's his main line of work King, studying creatures like Bigfoot.
He writes heaps of books about that kind of thing...not that I have read any of them.
He's always on those Bigfoot shows on TV apparently, like on the Sci Fi channel.

  14. Beautiful work here! The Jovan/Arrowhead connection and his child's 9/11 birthday (neither of which I'd noticed before) are very important. I'm so glad you updated today about the Webster, NY firefighter shooting. I had an epiphany about it last night but this morning no one was talking about it...too busy with Xmas I suppose. Anyway, I'm putting together another blog post with the sync connections that came to me. I hope to get it posted tonight.

  15. Just in case Loren tries to delete his comment from this post (as he has a habit of doing in other groups to cover his tracks) I've copied it so it is preserved here, just in case. ;-)
