The Art Of Olaf Breuning

Olaf Breuning on the right,
in case you didn't know
;-)
I've been using Olaf's images in a few of my latest posts on this blog.

Olaf Breuning

Big Brain Small Stomach -

Metro Pictures - New York

I came across Olaf's art after reading a book on Gothic art
called Hell Bound, by Francesca Gavin.
I wouldn't call Olaf Breuning a Gothic artist, even though his art was featured in the above book.

I threw the above picture of Olaf's in for my friend King Uke, since he had a post about  the TV show Game of Thrones on his blog the other day -
The Game of Thrones - Series 1 (2011)
The gardeners – 2008
I love Olaf's take on the world, but I have to confess that his work would have given me nightmares as a kid who used to love dragging rakes around the backyard;-)
Brilliant conceptual works of all kinds

Olaf Breuning - Artist

Olaf Breuning

His art is probably not the sort of stuff I would like decorating my home, but I do like his take on life through art.

I've still only seen the pilot episode,so I don't know enough about the show to comment yet.
Getting a Blue-Ray player in this house is near impossible when you're ranked as low as I am on the family priorities of importance list.
