Australian Rock Legend's Sons and Death?

No sooner had I read Nick Cave's heart-rending letter about the death of his son and grief on the BBC news webpage this morning, then I see the very tragic news of another Aussie rock legend losing his son in a brutal assault at a place named Queenscliff in Sydney's north. 
It certainly is a strange and dark world sometimes when it comes to coincidence in the world news media.
