Being born in the Year of the Dragon myself and just having completed a 60-year cycle of the wood dragon in Chinese astrology this month, and with my first grandchild about to be born in theYear of theWood Dragon next month, this podcast seems very timely to me personally.
Not to mention that my football team the Brisbane Lionswon the AFL grand final last weekend:-)
I'm getting a Lions tattoo on my left forearm soon, because of this victory in 2024 and have been thinking of getting a dragon tattoo on my right forearm, but I'm leaning towards theluckdragon from 'The Never-Ending Story':-)
The Dendy cinema chain sent me an email this week informing me of a Harry Potter marathon screening that was to take place this weekend, and then I saw the news of the passing of actressMaggie Smith(who played Professor Minerva McGonagall) on Friday.
I have never watched Maggie in any movies where she was "young", such as 'The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie', although I did see 'Travels with My Aunt' at the cinema with my Grandmother when it came out at the cinema, but I was too young to know who Maggie was then, and don't remember much about that movie from all those years ago, so I'll have to give it another viewing soon, along with a lot of her movies that slipped past my eyes over the years.
Since Tina Areana is a big singer in France, as well as Australia and the Brisbane Lionstheme song is set to the tune of the French national anthem, maybe Tina can sing the French version of our song after the game?-)
This will either end up a mauling for The Swans or the comeback of a lifetime.
You know what I'm cheering for, don't you? 🦁
UPDATE: September 29th, 2024
On a personal "synchromystic" note the Lions won by a margin of 60 points a few days after I turned 60:-)
And The Swans could only manage to score 60 points against us, as well:-)

I went down to the Lions old HQat Springwoodbefore noon to check my old keno ticket and put on another 30 games, grab a beer, buy some discounted Lionsgear for me and my youngest son (who is exactly half my age this year) and then go home to watch the game on TV.
