Jonathan Livingston Seagull Came to Richard Bach From Out of the Blue?

I listened to an interesting podcast today where Richard Bach tells how JLS came to him in a vision after hearing a voice (in his head?) call out Jonathan Livingston Seagull while Richard was out walking.

Richard also talks about an NDE he had when he was nearly killed when his plane was flipped hitting wires while coming in to land.
