"If you've ever heard somebody complaining "they built things to last back then" – well, here's the proof. A 9000-year-old stone mask has been unveiled in Israel, and it's in remarkable condition. The Israeli Antiquities Authority said the object, carved of sandstone, was discovered in a field earlier this year. Clearly visible on the mask are markings representing teeth, while the eyeholes, mouth and nose are still clearly delineated."
The future of tourism at Uluru is connected to appreciating the landscape — and the rock — from the ground. It's changed a lot since the 1930s, but tourism at the rock looks set to remain."

I'm not really into astrology even though from my own experience it does work, although scientifically it shouldn't. I'm a bit of a fatalistin my outlook on life and I don't really want to know what's coming down the pike, because I believe your fate is set and you won't be able to avoid it if it REALLY is your fate. Any "fate" that can be avoided was never really your fate in the first place, I think. It is either going to happen, or it isn't, and if it doesn't, well that's not fate is it? But paradoxically, I believe that you should live your life like you have all the choice in the world in this life, because that's how fate keeps you on track ... not that I believe you can ever really go off track anyway.
My belief is if you want to make God laugh, then tell God your plans. You might think you are in charge of your plans and driving your own car through life, but I think if you stepped back it would look more like this picture below:-)
Beep ... beep!!!
Anyway, it's probably a healthier outlook that if we are going to be driven around the track in the game of life that we think we are at the wheel, I guess.
After I had gone through the archives at the 'Turning of the Wheel' podcast I listened to what was then the latest podcast of Chris Flisher's - Jupiter in Sagittarius ~ Possibility Arrives
"Jupiter represents possibility, optimism and expansion.
As it steps into the sign that it rules, the possibilities become greater as we try to achieve what's best for us all.
How will this impact you?
How can you use this time to gain control and conquer your challenges?
Sagittarians are adventurerers.
Where does this appear in your personal journey?
How can you use it?
Join your host Chris Flisher as he speaks with astrologer,
Jackie Slevin about this great potential for all of us."
A Bowman?!
Dave Bowman on his way to Jupiter in '2001 ...'
A welcome paws in your daily swirl of constant change?!
Listening to Chris and Jackie talk about Jupiter in this podcast blew my synchromysticsocks off. Especially when about three minutes in when Suri starts repeating everything Jackie was saying and Chris remarks how they are having a three-way talk with AI:-)
Chris also starts off the podcast by telling Jackie that he started his radio show 12 years ago. 12 years being one complete cycle of the Chinese astrological wheel.
Oddly enough, Jackie says how Sagittariusrepresents animals and wildlife and nature right at the start of that podcast, but little did she know that thedeadliest bushfiresin California's history had just started their path of destruction.
I see that the co-executive producerof Gerard's latest film 'Hunter Killer'died suddenly exactly one month after the date on the movie posterof the film's release.
