10/13, The X-Files and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood?

After reading Jacques Vallee's two books, which I referred to in my post -

I decided to watch my DVD of 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind', which I haven't watched for quite sometime.

He also attempted to interest Spielberg in an alternative explanation for the phenomenon.

If it was real, physical, but not ET.

So he said, 'You're probably right, but that's not what the public is expecting — this is Hollywood and I want to give people something that's close to what they expect."

"Episode "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" of X-Files which aired on April 12, 1996 had fake alien pilots, one named Jacques Sheaffer and the other Robert Vallee.

According to Robert Sheaffer this was a joke by the X-Files creator Chris Carter to name the characters after Vallee and Sheaffer.

Sheaffer further states that "the M.P. who later arrested them [the characters] was Sgt. Hynek", a reference to ufologist
J. Allen Hynek."

As I was watching 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' something stuck me about the implications of the Jillian Guiler character played by Melinda Dillion in the movie and I started to do some research for a future post about it.

But then something else caught my eye about Melinda Dillion, she shares October 13th as a birthday with 'X-Files' creator
Chris Carter.

The name of Carter's production company, Ten Thirteen Productions, comes from Chris Carter's birthdate, 10/13/1956.

On The X-Files (1993), Mulder's birthday was also 10/13.

Born exactly one year before the murder of Sharon Tate?

I thought it was interesting that Dillon played a character named Jillian in Close Encounters and that Gillian Anderson plays a lead character in 'The X-Files'.
