"Fogerty reportedly wrote"BadMoon Rising" after watching The Devil and Daniel Webster. Inspired by a scene in the film involving a hurricane, Fogerty claims the song is about "the apocalypse that was going to be visited upon us"."
Not that I believe in crap like the apocalypse, but 27 days is close to one lunar cycle and while it may not be the end yet, things don't look real good for 2020, since the Lunar NewYear of the Rat started.
"Bad Moon Rising has been adapted by fans of Manchester Cityfootball club with the title "Argentinian Blues" referencing the six Argentinian players in Manchester City's ranks.
Manchester United fans have adapted the song for three chants entitled "Stretford End Arising", "You Think That Your Moustache Is Trendy", and "Ole, Ole, Ander Herrera"."
I guess it hasn't been all plain sailing for Manchester City this year either, but Gabriel did pull them out of the fire against the Foxes this weekend I see.
I know Chris Knowles isn't a big fan of Gabriel ... Peter Gabriel that is:-)
STAR is just RATS spelled backwards ... coincidence?-)
