After I had read Jacques Vallee's two books above, I decided to watch my DVD of the movie 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' once again after many years, because Jacques was a consultant on the movie when it was made in the seventies.
It became quite clear to me when watching this movie again that it is implied that the single mother has a hybrid child and that the child is probably meant to be a mix of genes from the single mother, the Roy Neary character and some alien genes.
Looks like those aliens are back for some more of her eggs?-)
Hence the 'When You Wish Upon a Star' music and all the talk about Pinocchio in the film.
Obviously, Steven Spielberg is a big Stanley Kubrick fan, but there does seem to be a bit of synchromysticism going on in CE3K, considering Kubrick was about to bring out 'The Shining' a few years later and Cary turned down the role of playing Danny.
Hmm ... a red VW and a tennis ball?!
A tricycle in CE3K?!
There are even hints that Roy's own kids could be hybrids, with that creepy big eyed kid painting on the wall in the shot from CE3K pictured below.
And let's not forget the owls like Mike Clelland is so fond of writing about seen in the movie could mean screen memories have been planted;-)
Missing time and screen memories maybe?-)
Green eyes?
Funny that when I noticed that Steven Spielberghad green eyes and I tried doing a search on the net to find out for sure what colour eyes he had that some people said blue and some said brown, but he has olive green eyes like I do.
Sometimes his eyes appear dark green and sometimes they appear light green, almost blue.
