Panama and the Call of the Siren?

I saw a series of news stories this week which seemed to fit together like a bizarre Jungian archetypal dream.
First I saw the story of a Panamanian ghost-ship named the
MV Alta that had been drifting at sea for 18 months and was now washed up on the shoreline of Cork in Ireland.

Then I see a story about how Margot Robbie can't make it back to Dalby, the town she was born in, for her grandfather's funeral, because she is filming 'The Suicide Squad' in Panama, of all places.

Weirdly and synchromysticly, Dalby was flooded in the week leading up to the funeral of Margot's grandfather.
