A New Moon and Nasty Weather?

'Came out of nowhere'
The Year of the Water Tiger starts just after the new moon which was last night.
And yesterday I see this news story above about the Western Australian town of Broome getting flooded and a picture of the Sun Pictures movie theatre going under.
UNHINGED Sun Pictures?
And what's one of the movies meant to be playing at the cinema this week?
The Eve of the Tiger?

Storms caused damage to homes in 
Logan late yesterday afternoon
That was a little too close to home for me literally.
