I watched two versions of Metropolis last week on You Tube (free versions) as I had read about the movie in the book 'The Secret Life of Puppets' by Victoria Nelson and had forgotten how the story went, not having watched the movie for some time.

The revamped colour fan version with the new added soundtrack is very well done and worth a watch, I think.

I find it rather ironic that the Hollywood strike has poured cold water on the TV series remake of the 1927 movie, killing it off altogether this year:-)
