When Your [Dr](#)No is Up, It's Up?

As the first female to be seen in Dr. No together with James Bond (Sean Connery)Eunice Gayson is officially the very first actress to play a Bond girl.
Her most famous scene is probably the one above at the card table where Bond says the famous line "Bond ... James Bond" to her query as to just who he is.
Eunice was born on March 17th, which is St. Patrick's Day and on the poster of 'Dr. No' at the IMDB site Bond is coloured all green ironically enough.
Eunice also yells out "eight" at the card table which in real life would be the number of the day that she would pass away ... June 8th, 2018.
Dr. No?
"The numero sign or numero symbol, (also represented as NΒΊ, No, No. or no. (US English), or No or no (UK English) plural Nos. or nos. (US English) or Nos or nos UK English), is a typographic abbreviation of the word number(s) indicating ordinal numeration, especially in names and titles.
For example, with the numero sign, the written long-form of the address "Number 22 Acacia Avenue" is shortened to "№ 22 Acacia Avenue", yet both forms are spoken long."
And on the subject of green men, Eunice played Margret in the movie 'The Revenge of Frankenstein' and would pass away in 2018, the year Shelley's 'Frankenstein' story celebrates its 200th anniversary.
And while I know the game being played in the Bond film is Baccarat, 1818 in poker could be seen as a pair of aces and eights, or the Deadman's Hand.
Life does seem to be a gamble at times, but then again maybe it's all in the cards?-)

  1. Bonjour.
Eunice was "Elisabeth" in Terence Fisher's movie "the last man to hang ?". Fisher was the director of a tv series about a "green man": https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047706/?ref_=nm_flmg_dr_30
June is the anniversary's month of queen Elisabeth 2's crowning.
