Randonautica App Increases Coincidences?

I'm about to go on a long drive today, but I'm not using the Randonautica app today, I'll be using my inner GPS, like I do most of the time:-)

I have used the app before with my younger son, who has the app on his phone, and we did have a cool/freaky experience in hindsight, but you can do this kind of stuff without such an app I think -
