Gresham's Castle/Bishop Palace is Windswept House?

The Bishop's Palace, also known as Gresham's Castle
I'm not even one hundred pages into the "factional" novel 'Windswept House', but from what I can gather this is the "Gladstone House" which the novel's title is inspired by (not that I know the significance to the main story yet) and in real life it is meant to be haunted?
Is Bishop’s Palace Haunted?
This place is on my bucket list now if I can get there before I kick it that is:-)
