Remembering the War on Drugs in 2021?-)

I  had to laugh when I picked up my Remembrance Day Queensland newspaper with the poppy on the front page and the headline 'Knock, Knock ... He's There' about a dumb drug smuggler who gave himself away by knocking back a a cop who knocked on his shipping container while he was trying to cross illegally into Queensland with a shipment of Coke:-)

War, Poppy Day and the War on Drugs?

The irony is that we celebrate Remembrance Day with poppies, the plant from which legal and illegal drugs like morphine and heroin are made from:-)
