I see that the Richmond Tigers got their AFLW season off to a good start for 2022 on Friday night.

But I'm hoping for the reining Queens of the jungle to go back-to-back in the Year of the Tiger, and make it the Year of the Lions with our men's team in 2022:-)

Time to turn on the TV and tune out this afternoon.

A not so auspicious start for my team this season, and a game that was about as thrilling as watching paint dry for Lions supporters, but hey, there are another 9 games left for us at least this season and you know what they say about the lives of a cat, don't you? 

And oddly enough, we don't play the Tigers until the last round of the season.

Ash Barty has claimed her second
Adelaide International title in three years

At least fellow Queenslander Ash Barty had more luck today in Adelaide, but then again, she would, because she is a bloody Richmond Tigers supporter;-)

I guess it's still too early in the season to know what to expect if you are a footy fan, especially cats supporters of all kinds;-)
