Pigeon Syncs

I was reading the pigeon chapter in Scott Alexander-King's book
Animal Dreaming yesterday, and the mailman drove by with the mail, so I put the book down to go collect the mail and as I was at the mailbox a pigeon flew over my head
(without dropping any surprises on me either;-)
But according to Scott, pigeon means "homecoming" and oddly enough I was home, so what could this sync mean, if anything?
A school bus came around the corner and parked over the road, as there is a school across the road a little way further up my street.
Which made me think of this -
Well pigeons are pretty smart,  just take a look at this You Tube below.
But maybe the pigeon had other plans for the bus that just couldn't be stopped safely by me?-)
But I couldn't help thinking what the message of this pigeon flying over my head was, as I was reading about pigeons as a sign of 'homecoming', when I'm already at home.
Maybe it was just more junk mail for me to read?
.
Some people take their pigeons seriously, but not me.
Maybe there is a message in that sync for me, but I can't find it at the moment.
The manager that made me redundant at my last job had the surname Pigeon, funnily enough, so you could say he pooped all over me ... but so far he has done me a favour kicking me out of that s#!+hole of a place, so I see that as a bit of good luck really.
So, maybe it's true what they say about pigeons pooping on you as being good luck?-)
But still, here's a message for him if he ever comes by to read this post -
There are worse birds than pigeons that can send a message to you, as the above cartoon demonstrates, so I should be thankful,
I guess?-)

  1. I've been enjoying your syncs this week. I've had a lot of "traveler" and "messenger" syncs lately, the pigeon would fit right in with that.

  2. Don't really like pigeons. I looked them up a book I have, The Complete Book of Magic and Witchcraft, seems they cure convulsions:

"Split a live pigeon and apply it to the soles of the feet to cure convulsions."

    That's probably not much help!

That would probably give me convulsions...and I would feel like a heal wearing pigeon on my feet...unless it was my old boss, that is...that I might find soothing...giving him the boot,or making him the boot.-)
But in reality I feel sorry for him, because he is just a pigeon trying to be a peacock. He thought he was real cool being a boss man,but everybody was just laughing behind his back at him, even his so called buddies, and his name suited him because he was full of s#!+ and everyone knew it.
Most managers in companies like that just pretenders full of crap, bluffing their way up the ladder and crapping over everyone to get there, that's why being a manager never appealed to me,because you have to be a lying scumbag to survive in that dirty little game. And that's just the positive's of a guy like that.
Anyway, that enough truths for one day,hey Alex?

Alex is an ex-coworker that sneaks in and reads my blog from time to time, and thinks I don't know he is doing it.Hey Alex ?-)

Maybe the pigeon is a sign for me to journey more as well,as the pigeon flew from a tree in my yard then over my head and away from the house.
Maybe I need to get out more?
