Falling Apart Behind the Scenes?

I recently finished two books, one print book 'Talking to My Country', one audio book 'Back, After the Break', and both authors tell in those books about their breakdowns and thoughts about suicide.
After reading Stan's book I stumbled across an interview (below) between the two authors from the ABC site, where Stan interviews Osher about his life and dealing with stress and mental health.
While Stan's insight into his breakdown isn't really what his book was all about, Osher's was.
As if to underline this problem another high-profile Aussie celebrity took her own life ten days ago.
I had heard a podcast Osher had done with Annalise back in 2013 which shows in hindsight just how people who seem to have it all, are sometimes really barely keeping it all together in the glare of "social " media -
Selfie, Selfie on the Net, Who's the Fairest of Us Yet?
Sometimes the ones we fool the most are ourselves ... consciously that is.
Life obviously isn't that bed of roses that people long for as seen on "reality" TV it seems.
Both very good books to read by the way and I'll have another post about Stan's book in a future post coming soon.
