Listening to the audio chapters of Charles Dickens' book 'David Copperfield' I couldn't help noticing Charles wrote about King Charles the 1st in his veiled autobiographical novel, and in season 5 of the Netflix series 'The Crown', Mohamed Al-Fayed is advised by Sydney Johnson to read English literature, Charles Dickens' works being one of the authors mentioned by Sydney.

I thought it rather synchromystic that 'The Scarlett Letter' sits right next to 'David Copperfield' in my book '1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die', as 'The Scarlett Letter' was made into a movie by Dodi Fayed's film production company 'Allied Stars' in the 90s.
