Why Meditation Isn't Working for Me ... or You?πŸ§ πŸ’€πŸ‘Ό

I rarely meditate anyway, as sleep seems to do the job for me ... not that I can ever remember my dreams though.
Even though I am a Liberal Catholic as far as "religion" goes, my inclination is towards Buddhism as far as beliefs go.
I certainly believe in reincarnation, as opposed to one life and that's it.
But I have no problem with people believing in one life and that's it, if that's what gets them through the night ... and life ... or even if they believe in you die and it's GAME OVER.
We are all led down the path we are meant to take in life I think ... but who really knows, right?
I agree with Kelvin on his theories about Rosary Beads being a way to bypass the rational mind as an aid to meditate, whether you believe in what you are reciting or not.
And I'm a person who is on the fence as to whether Jesus was even a real historical figure.
Or The Buddha for that matter, but we all like to think we have (imaginary?) friends, right?
