Scallop Dreaming: Pilgrimage

"The Scallop heralds a quest for the truth.
It embodies the physical or spiritual journey we might take in search of greater wisdom or deeper understanding.
It heralds a time of discovery, growth and awakening by encouraging a personal pilgrimage undertaken with the intention of attaining sacred knowledge.
When taken with pure intent and no preconceived expectation, such a journey will surely see you rewarded with spiritual nourishment."
The above and below passages were quoted from the book
"Despite the obstacles presented to us by circumstances, scallop manages to open a mutual channel through which pure and unadulterated love, trust and acceptance may flow freely from us and back to us in kind."

  1. I've done my pilgrimage to Glastonbury Tor, as per the final video. I've always got itchy feet, it's why I like walking.

  2. I've never seen a scallop swimming! A pilgrimage can be through your own neighborhood. Walking slows the world down so you can see what might ordinarily be invisible to you as you zip psst in a car.

  3. I'd like to see these cement blocks with scallop shells in backyard gardens to remind us that everyday should be viewed as a pilgrimage.
You know like hoe people place statues and bird baths in their yard ?
