The Highest Self?

I was looking for podcasts on shamanism to listen to and stumbled across two interesting podcasts that weren't strictly podcasts about shamanism, but did deal with the highest self in their own particular approach to the subject and did touch on shamanic topics in some episodes.
Sahara Rose author of 'Idiot's Guide to Ayurveda' has a podcast called 'The Highest Self Podcast', which I found interesting, even though I'm not really interested in the Ayurveda ones.
The ones below I listened to and found intersting.
The other podcast was called 'PSYCHEDELICS TODAY' and since I have never done psychedelics before I'm interested to listen to just why people do.
Daniel Greig – Measuring Wisdom, Mindfulness, and More in Psychedelic Research
"In this episode of Psychedelics, Kyle and Joe talk with Daniel Greig. Daniel is a student at the University of Toronto and psychedelic community organizer working with CSSDP and the Toronto Psychedelic Society.
We go all over the map but some notable things discussed in this episode include:
Measuring wisdom
Mindfulness
The promise of
psychedelics
Future research opportunities
How friendly the University of Toronto is to psychedelic research
Interesting philosophical overlaps with psychedelics and occultism
and much more!!
"
Either way I hope you find the way to your highest self and remember that when it comes to shamanism drugs will never beat a drum ... OK?-)
