That Name FRASER Makes Tragic Headlines Once Again Mr. Knowles?

Australian man dies after a shark attack near Queensland's Fraser Island
Not to make light out of a real life tragic news story, but I couldn't help noticing some dark synchronicities floating around in the news headlines of late that I'm sure would grab my sync-head blogging mate's attention from 'The Secret Sun' blog, Chris Knowles right now, especially for his interest in all things "Elizabeth" and "Fraser".
Finding Eliza: Colonial Power and Storytelling?
The tragic headline of a spear fisherman taken by a shark off the Fraser Island coast at a spot called Indian Head seemed rather darkly synchronistic as far as other news headlines went at the time, I thought.

Not all synchronicity is good, and I guess the question has to be asked of why "God" lets bad things happen to good people?

  1. I said it before, I'll say it again: stay the hell off Fraser Island. It's the Australia of Australia.

  2. Funny thing is that I have lived in Queensland for most of my life and I've never made it on to Fraser Island.
I have it on my bucket list though, and knowing my luck I'll probably get hit by lightning twice if I make it over to the island:-)

  3. Brizdaz (Darren), don't go to Fraser Island to kick the bucket or kick up a hornets nest.

  4. Thanks for the advice Allen, but I usually go visiting places to give my own ass a kick, and only if I feel compelled to by some other perceived outside force that is more than willing to do it for me:-)
As an old tour guide once told me, "Life is like a bucket of hornets, when you stick your hand in that bucket you never know what you're going to get":-)
