Darwin’s Arch (aka the Arc of Darwin), the rock formation
 in the southeast of Darwin Island collapsed on May 17th

Probably a sign that his theory of evolution is about to crumble like the creation myth did years ago, too?-)

Hollywood actor and renowned environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio has announced a $43million initiative to bring in sweeping conservation measures across the Galápagos Islands.

Launched in partnership with Re:wild , a new global environmental organization working with the Galápagos National Park Directorate, Island Conservation, and local communities, the initiative’s simple but bold mandate is to “protect and rewild the Galápagos” as well all of Latin America’s Pacific archipelagos.
