A Hidden Rorschach Test: Who?

I noticed Mike had a new 'Hidden Experience' post under mine at the 'Watching the Watchman' blog, and I thought I would take a closer look at the the differences in his new book cover.

The new cover art for THE MESSENGERS
 features a subtle change?

I thought Mike had put a subliminal angel into the owl's face, but then I thought I had seen that image somewhere on his blog before ... maybe?

Hidden Experience: dove, angel or mothman?

An owl beak and eyes ... maybe?

I'm probably just seeing part of an owl that is not really there, right?-)
