Bindi (Earth Tiger) and Steve (Water Tiger) |
Sir David Attenborough turns 96 on May 8 (maaaate), 2022, making him a Fire Tiger, and if he is lucky enough to live out another 12-year Tiger cycle that would mean he would have to be 108 by then ... good luck Sir Dave.
When doing a search on any videos that Sir Dave had done involving tigers, I was stunned to see that there was one uploaded on Steve Irwin's birthday (Feb 22) in 2013, which was the Year of the Snake that year:-)I hope that's not a Tiger Snake Steve?-) |
Ironically on a personal note the last show that was put on for us the last time I was at Australia Zoo was the tiger show ... and that was the day Bindi got married at the zoo ... not that I knew on the day while I was there:-)
Guess Where I Was Today?
Did you ever see Steve in person?
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteI took my two boys up there twice, because they used to love watching him on TV chasing and catching animals, hoping to see him feed the crocs or do something like that, and while he was there somewhere those days, he wasn't doing any shows we were told ... and we didn't see him.
Such is life, as they say.
I always used to tell them never to do what he was doing, as one day when he least expects it one of those animals is going to take him by surprise and it will be game over.
In fact I think I told them that about a month before Steve got killed by the stingray.
I didn't see that one coming either, as I thought it would be a croc, shark or a deadly snake that would be his end, not a stingray.
