I listened to a recent 'Troubled Minds' podcast episode called 'Halloween Archetypes - The Black Cat and Familiar Spirits' because I'm "a cat person" and my favourite colour cat is a black one ... or predominately coloured black ones, as I have written in many posts on this blog, such as this one from earlier this year -

The most fluorescent animals were found to be all white |
Mike Strange mentions the news article above in the radio show/podcast about a report from the west side of my home country (AKA the Black Swan State) where mammals were studied for their fluorescent compounds.
"In a new study published today by researchers from the Western Australian Museum and Curtin University, fluorescence among mammals was found to be "extremely common.""And while we Australians don't officially celebrate Halloween over here, a lot of Australians unofficially do.
It's springtime in Oz, so it doesn't make much sense to celebrate a holiday like Halloween over here at this time of year.
And while I found Mike's show about the "Black Cat" archetype an interesting discussion, it's the white or lighter coloured mammals which shine the brightest according to the study -
"There was a large amount of white fluorescence in the white fur of the koala, Tasmanian devil, short-beaked echidna, southern hairy-nosed wombat, quenda, greater bilby, and a cat -- and while a zebra's white hairs glowed its dark hairs did not," said Travouillon.
Only one mammal examined -- the dwarf spinner dolphin -- has no fluorescence externally. Only the teeth of the dolphin were found to fluoresce."
I noticed that Russell Targ seems to be a black cat kind of guy when looking at the picture headlining my recent post featuring him -
Remote Viewing Magician, Russell Targ? πππ°Targ's father William passed away in 1999, the Year of the Rabbit/Cat, the year 'The Matrix' hit cinema screens, I noticed;-)
