Countdown to Doom: 1981, Episode 21?

The scene of the light aircraft
crash at
Lismore Airport
On March 24th an ultralight plane crashed soon after take-off at Lismore Airport.
Wayne Fisher, 62, is believed to have been testing the new ultralight for the company he owned, Spectrum Aviation.
Mr Fisher had been involved in the manufacture of more than 200 ultralights during his career, local media reported.
He was killed on impact.
There was no one else on board at the time.
I Googled the number on the wing of the crashed plane - 198121 and Google directed me to an episode of Spiderman from 1981, episode 21, called "Countdown to Doom".
Spider-Man (1981) | Season 1 | Episode 21 | Countdown To Doom
"As N.A.S.A. prepares to launch a space platform containing a canon created by Dr. Doom, there is an accident with a liquid nitrogen leak, trapping some gantry workers.
Spidey quickly intervenes and saves both the workers, and the rocket, little realizing that he has ensured that Dr. Doom's final master plan can go ahead.
Doom watches the rocket's launch from his new castle, unaware of Johan and his comrade's escape from the dungeons.
Doom takes control of the rocket using his satellite tracking station and help from Dr. Zoltan at N.A.S.A. Doom uses the laser canon on board the space platform to ignite all the volcanoes around the Pacific rim of fire.
The resulting simultaneous eruptions move the Earth from its orbit, sending it away from the Sun and plunging it into a new ice age.
Spidey discovers that the only opportunity to return the Earth to its original orbit it at midnight, when the volcanoes are on the other side of the Earth, facing away from the Sun. Doom issues his final ultimatum to the U.N., and with no choice, they declare him absolute ruler of the world.
Spidey meanwhile, has hitched a lift to Latveria thanks to the French ambassador, and meets up with Johan's resistance.
With Doom now master of the world, he sends out robot duplicates of himself to take their place at the head of all the world's governments, and dissolves the U.N.
As Spider-Man and the Latverian resistance converge on Dr. Doom's castle, the stage is set for the final battle to save the Earth "

" "Something catastrophic must have happened."
Mr (Wayne ) Fisher owned Lismore-based company Spectrum Aviation and his website boasts he had flown ultralights for more than 30 years as a pilot and instructor
and holds an aerobatic rating. "
" It was interesting to see the spectrum of reactions to The Dark Knight Rises, with some arguing that it was a sort of a neoconservative or very right-wing film and others seeing it as being a radical leftist film and one of the things the film seems to be talking about is how easily the political rhetoric of one extreme can be co-opted by the complete opposite extreme.
NOLAN: Absolutely, and then you get into the philosophical question: if an energy or a movement can be co-opted for evil, then is that a critique of the movement itself? All of these different interpretations are possible. What was surprising to me is how many pundits would write about their political interpretation of the film and not understand that any one political interpretation necessarily involved ignoring huge chunks of the film. And it made me feel good about where we had positioned the film, because it’s not intended to be politically specific. It would be absurd to try to make a politically specific film about this subject matter, where you’re actually trying to pull the shackles off everyday life and go to a more frightening place where anything is possible. You’re off the conventional political spectrum, so it’s very subject to interpretation and misinterpretation. "

" The upcoming Hollywood version of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell now has its Sam Fisher—and it’s the man who recently brought Bane to life.
Indeed, Variety reports that Tom Hardy–star of films such as The Dark Knight Rises and Mad Max: Fury Road–will step into the role of one of gaming’s most famous faces in stealth action.
The Splinter Cell movie will be the second feature film that Ubisoft is prepping for development—the first being Assassin’s Creed. While Splinter Cell has not yet been connection to any particular studio, Ubisoft has supposedly be in talks with both Warner Bros. and Paramount.
“Tom Hardy is currently one of the biggest talents in the film industry, and he has a phenomenal ability to take on complex and varied roles with his broad range of acting skills,” said Ubisoft Motion Pictures CEO Jean-Julien Baronnet. “His involvement in the ‘Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell’ movie is exciting news for movie and video game fans alike.”  "
