Mirrors for the Blind?

Cecil Hotel

(Los Angeles)

http://www.thececilhotel.com/
"The Cecil Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles (640 S. Main Street) is a budget hotel with 600 guest rooms (originally 700)
Constructed by 1927, the hotel was intended for business travelers but in the 1950s it gained a reputation as a residence for transients.
A portion of the hotel was refurbished in 2007 after new owners took over.
The Hotel is known for its criminal activity to include three murders and also several suicides.
Most notably, the hotel was the reported residence for serial killers Richard Ramirez in 1985 and Jack Unterweger in 1991
Recently, in February 2013, the body of Elisa Lam, a 21-year-old Canadian girl, was found inside one of the water supply tanks on the hotel roof.
The body was discovered after patrons complained of low water pressure"
Cecil according to this site -
http://www.sheknows.com/baby-names/name/cecil
means blind.
English Meaning:
The name Cecil is an English baby name
In English the meaning of the name Cecil is: Blind
(from the Roman clan name Caecilius).
Which seems rather ironic that a hotel named Cecil has so many mirrors in it.
Not to mention that creepy carpet pattern in the room above.
I wonder if that might be room 237 by any chance?
I wondered where I saw that creepy carpet pattern before
I could imagine this being a good location if they ever wanted to make a squeal to Eyes Wide Shut;-)
This place has way too much baggage for me to ever feel comfortable spending the night in it.
And way too many mirrors for a hotel that never seems to notice what's going on inside its walls.
This latest incident has to be the creepiest one yet.
I hope there is a breakthrough in this case, as it seems more than suicide was involved here.
